Jennifer Capps believes you (yes, you!) should explore entrepreneurial thinking at NC State, because entrepreneurial skills can serve you well in any future career. She believes anyone can be an entrepreneurial thinker, and shares NC State's resources to help you get involved.

Jennifer Capps has been building innovation and entrepreneurship programs since 2001, and is proud to have introduced the world of entrepreneurship to thousands of students. Capps is the assistant vice provost and director of student learning and faculty development for NC State Entrepreneurship. She develops and delivers classroom content, mentors entrepreneurship students and presents at entrepreneurship and innovation events around the world. She mentors faculty interested in implementing entrepreneurial thinking into courses and consults with organizations on developing entrepreneurial mindsets within their employees. Capps completed her Master of Science in Management degree at NC State, specializing in new product development and technology commercialization. In 2009, she was named one of Triangle Business Journal’s top women in business for her work in teaching and mentoring entrepreneurial students, and in 2016 she was recognized by the NC State Office of International Affairs for leadership in international education.
